Laid Off & Called Back to Work; Turkeys Galore!

A staff member’s 14 year old daughter attended the COTS fundraising breakfast. She was so moved she pledged 1/3 of her allowance over the next 5 years!

One of our families joined us at this year’s fundraising breakfast.  Mom shed grateful tears as she watched herself and her baby on the video.

One of our new moms went to her graduation from Casa Theresa this past weekend…she was so proud!

Our families received beautiful new jackets from the Petaluma Rotary…they had so much fun trying them on in the living room Thursday night!

We have 4 new families who just moved into The Family Center at MIC in the past 2 weeks!

We provided rugs to two long time residents with babies.  Within an hour, babies and their moms were doing floor time together!

Lee called this week to share his happy news that he has been recalled to his manufacturing job of 11 years after a 2 month layoff.

We asked for 500 turkeys for our Food Box Program and for our Thanksgiving meals.  The generous, giving people of Petaluma have provided 1,100+.

Bringing some relaxing fun to the daily work load, the first “Read Right” COTS book club met and had s grand time reviewing their first book; The Art of Racing in the Rain”.

Although Jerry and his son were not picked for an opening at a Burbank property, they both remain motivated and dedicated to their commitments and the COTS Program.

A new mom in our Transitional Family Shared Housing Program recently told me, “I have never felt so accepted for who I am in my life as I do in my new home.”
