Fundraising Breakfast Celebrates Community and COTS

Thanks to the 600 people who participated in COTS’ annual fundraising breakfast on November 17th, and to the dozens of volunteers and staff who made it possible. We filled the Vets Building at 7:30am!

Here are comments from people who were there:

“John, I can’t imagine an affair better than what you and your colleagues presented this morning at the Vets memorial. Engaging, moving, and of the highest professional standards. A great reflection of your whole operation at COTS. I’m proud to be a donor. Congratulations.”

“I did not think you could improve upon perfection. You proved me wrong. The breakfast/fundraiser was simply powerful, moving, poignant and so much more. I am so very proud to be within your orbit. Thank you so much for being a key part of my daily inspiration.”

“I thought your morning event was simply awesome. I hope you cleaned up money-wise.”

“The breakfast was wonderful. The team delivered a very strong and credible message.”

“I have witnessed a couple of your home runs, but this year, you hit it!! I am still amazed! Congratulations!”

“Please convey my heartiest congratulations and compliments to EVERYONE involved. It was just wonderful. The best yet. What came through especially strongly this year was the loving community behind and around all of COTS activities – and the invitation to everyone at the breakfast to be a part of that community.”

“We have just returned from COTS annual fundraising breakfast where over 600 people from the community came to hear about the important work COTS does to put homeless and vulnerable adults and children back on their feet, in a safe environment, restoring their self-esteem and self-confidence. The results are so positive and so powerful that there isn’t a big enough meeting hall in the city to accommodate all the people that want to be part of helping COTS address this critical human need. They come to pledge funds not just for one year or two years, but five years so that COTS can develop longer term plans to help their many clients.”

“Let me say that all of us were deeply touched by the dignity and beauty of the human spirit when it reaches out to fellow being in need. Thank all of you.”
