Thank you for your interest in volunteering at COTS!

 

Hundreds of volunteers give 50,000 hours a year of their precious time to our work! That's the equivalent of about 25 full-time unpaid employees!

 

COTS volunteers tutor children, pack and deliver food, mentor adults, teach classes and more. There probably is a volunteer need that matches your interests and availability.

 

We look forward to getting to know you, learning about your talents and interests, and matching you to just the right volunteer opportunity.

• ALL VOLUNTEERS must complete a COTS Volunteer Application.  Click here to fill out our application online.

• While our Volunteer Application can be completed online, there are additional forms that must be downloaded, printed out, and submitted via mail, fax, or scanned and emailed back to us:

For volunteers under 18, parents must complete Emergency Authorization and Parent Participation Contract.

For volunteer drivers, please complete a COTS Driver Application. Drivers must have at least five years of driving experience and provide a copy of your driver’s license and current auto insurance.

Plan to attend one of our Miracles Presentation and Shelter Tours to learn more about COTS – the tours are both informative and inspiring and are an important part of your volunteer orientation.  Please note that attendance is not required in order to begin volunteering, but is highly recommended.
