Providing emergency shelter and childcare for homeless families.
Overview:
- Provides emergency shelter for up to 35 family members and on-site childcare, freeing parents to focus on the core causes of their homelessness.
- Each family receives case management to develop action plans which include full assessment of children’s developmental, educational, physical and mental health combined with analysis of family’s homelessness issues.
- Parents receive mental health and chemical dependency assessment/treatment, help obtaining employment or public benefits, financial literacy training and housing search assistance.
